We currently provide a platform for delivering exercise challenges and classes which is free to all RWE employees and hosts 40 live classes per week with additional services such as nutritional advice and wellbeing events, delivered by members of the 3d Leisure team across various sites in the UK. 3D Leisure are pleased to announce the new arrival of a remote fitness service for RWE employees led by Cheryl Loxton, Club Manager of Energy360. We are offering group exercise sessions, one to one appointments for guidance on training and easy to follow movement “desk breakers” giving you the ability to develop a better well-being alongside you working from home. We hope that providing this service and structured guidance will make exercising from home more accessible, with the end goal to help assist employees fitness journeys and help gain a better, more productive working day.

Our aim is to ensure staff remain supported with their physical health, mental well-being and that all important social connection.

Download the App Via your smart phones by going into the App Store and type in ‘Gymsync’ or login and create an account via the link: gymsync.co.uk

We are also doing limited spot face to face and remote classes, all spaces can be booked on Gymsync, although face-to-face spaces are limited. Face to face sessions are booked under the ‘live’ tab with 6 spots available per class, on a first come first serve basis.

 

Circuits

A traditional style circuit class, working on a station for a short amount of time to achieve as many reps of that exercise as you can before moving onto the next.

 

Core

Focusing on strengthening and developing your core, posture and back muscles.

 

Functional

Class designed to improve the body’s overall day to day function. High paced, challenging but effective workouts to strengthen, improve posture and stance, flexibility and range along with cardiovascular fitness.

 

HIIT

Based around interval training, short bursts of work with quick rest periods to encourage training at intensity for maximum calorie burn. Bodyweight exercises only.

 

Tabata

8 blocks of 20 seconds exercises and 10 seconds rest to encourage training at intensity for maximum calorie burn. Bodyweight exercises only.

 

Pump

Strength based class focusing on weighted exercises to music in a group environment. Designed to help you get lean, more toned and fitter.

 

Pilates

A system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and posture and enhance mental awareness.

 

Yoga

Class of focusing on movement with breathe, simple meditation and the adoption of specific bodily postures widely practised for health and relaxation.

 

Combat

Fitness class to music in which individuals perform non-contact martial arts movements to music to shape, tone the body as well as improve overall fitness.

 

Novice Fitness

For those new to exercise or looking to return back to exercise and needing a little more support.  These classes are designed to guide you back into exercise at your own pace.

 

OPEN APPOINTMENTS

One-to-one appointments are available to discuss further any individual training needs. Whether this be a specific training goal or just advice on how to get moving in whatever set up you have.  These can also be tailored to suit getting back into exercise following illness or injury, or to structure an exercise program to help keep you motivated and on track. I have been in RWE for about 10 years, and have attended Lunchtime classes, for nearly the same amount of time. Cheryl is without a doubt, the best trainer we have ever had – and is a real asset to our company. Cheryl’s enthusiasm, commitment, and ability to motivate you, to push for a level you never thought you could reach; is without equal. Due to the current pandemic, the online remote classes, are a practical and flexible alternative to the gym. Cheryl has adapted and managed these classes wonderfully.
